Fresh Mountain Air
I'm sorry to be so late posting my entry today. Early this morning Vicky & I packed the saddlebags and mounted the Harley for a ride to the mountains. The skies were sunny, the temperatures mild, and my health good, so we hit the road for Cherokee, NC. We had an awesome ride, although Vicky is chastising me for spending too many hours in the saddle! I am fine, but she is a little sore!
The mountains are beautiful this time of year. God's handiwork is evident around every turn. We stopped on two occasions to enjoy a mountain stream and also watched some rafters on the Chattooga River. I am rejoicing today in God's healing touch that has given me the strength to ride 5 hours on a motorcycle! Thanks for your prayers. We head back home tomorrow! I love you!

David said it all: I saw God before me for all time. Nothing can shake me; He's right by my side. I'm glad from the inside out, ecstatic; I've pitched my tent in the Land of Hope. I know You'll never dump me in Hades; I'll never even smell the stench of death. You've got my feet on the life-path, with Your face shining sun-joy all around.
