God My Helper
I found two great scripture promises this morning. "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help IN trouble." (Psalm 46:) And this one: "I will be with him IN trouble, I will deliver him and honor him." (Psalm 91:15)
Upon hearing the results of my scan yesterday, a few people have asked, "Why hasn't God healed you yet?" My answer is very simple. It is not His will to act on MY schedule. He is healing me, and I am thanking Him for the healing, but I am yielded to HIS PERFECT TIMING! He will reveal the miracle of healing according to His schedule. In the meantime, He is changing me through this season of trouble, and He is teaching me so many valuable lessons. Keep in mind, our difficulties are intended to educate us, and when the lesson is over, we will receive a glorious reward. Remember, in God's eyes our difficulties are not problems, but opportunities for Him to perform miracles.
Have a great weekend! I am blessed to have my parents come for a visit, and to join us this weekend for Biker Sunday! We will be able to celebrate my Dad's birthday and Vicky's birthday at the same time! Isn't God good? I love you!
