Living With Passion

What is passion? Webster defines as follows: “An object of affection or enthusiasm”. Zeal is another good word to describe passion. Our passion drives us, and motivates us. It gives us a reason to get out of bed each morning. Are you a passionate person?

The Apostle Paul was a man of passion! He was passionate about Jesus Christ. When he met Christ on the road to Damascus, he was forever changed. His testimony: “All the things I once thought were so important are gone from my life. Compared to the high privilege of knowing Christ Jesus as my Master, everything I once thought I had going for me is insignificant. I’ve dumped it all in the trash so that I could embrace Christ, and be embraced by Him.” (Philippians 3:7-8 TMB)

What is your passion? Work? Sports? Hobbies? Family? Where does Christ fit in? Paul had made Christ his Number One passion! Everything else came a distant second. Are your priorities in correct order as you begin this new week? Passion is a great motivator! Just make sure your passions include Jesus! Thanks for your prayers. I love you!
