Prayer Is Effective!

Thanks to everyone for the specific prayers concerning my back pain. I felt much better today, and enjoyed a full day of sight-seeing with Vicky. We had a 5:00 a.m. wakeup call this morning in order to drop off Candi at the airport for her flight back to South Carolina. After several flight delays and a missed connection in Atlanta, she finally made it safely home.

Vicky and I enjoyed driving around southern Oregon today and seeing the beautiful mountains. We took a short trip to nearby Ashland. It is a Shakespeare-themed town with theaters, parks, restaurants and shops. We had a great time strolling the quaint streets in downtown.

It was also great to hear from my dear friend, John Houser, this afternoon. He is one of my "sons in the Lord" and he pastors in Idaho. He called to encourage me and assure me of his prayers for my miracle.
