Redwood Country

Hi from the Oregon Coast! We left Medford yesterday in the early afternoon and traveled to Redwood Tree country in northern California. What a beautiful part of the USA, and a great reminder of the grandeur of our Creator!

Before leaving Medford, I enjoyed lunch with Ben and David Grinder, the senior pastor of Medford First Church of the Nazarene. Their church is growing rapidly and approaching the 1000 mark in attendance. It was nice to enjoy fellowship and exchange ideas concerning church growth strategies. I will look forward to worshipping with them this coming Sunday.

We have rented a nice cottage in Gold Beach, Oregon for the next couple of days. We will spend the time relaxing with the grandbabies and enjoying having our entire family together with no distractions.

I continue to feel good. Thanks for your prayers. I resumed my cancer medication today, and ask you to pray that my skin reaction will be mild. Have a great day. I love you!
