God's Faithfulness

I once again got up this morning while it was still dark so that I could be rejoicing with the Lord at sunrise. I waited patiently, but darkness still prevailed. After a little while I could see a purple haze beginning to backlight the distant low clouds on the horizon. I could see the waves continually crashing on the shore, but no sun. Then exactly at 7:27, as predicted, the sun peeked over the eastern horizon. God is always faithful in nature. He is also faithful with His children! Just when you think the darkness will never lift, He brings the sun!

My scripture reading this morning reminded me that I am to be a witness of God’s faithfulness. “I will sing of the love of the Lord forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known.” (Psalm 89:1) I testify today to God's great faithfulness. He saves me! He keeps me! He loves me! He heals me!

Has God been faithful to you? Sure He has. Is it dark in your life this morning? Hang tight! The SON is just beyond your horizon! Be patient, and while you are awaiting His light, tell others about His unfailing love and faithfulness in your life.
