Hope That Endures
I read this verse this morning in my devotions: "Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed" (Romans 4:18) Then I read this quote: "Remember, the very time for faith to work is when our sight begins to fail. And the greater the difficulties, the easier it is for faith to work, for as long as we can see certain natural solutions to our problems, we will not have faith." George Mueller
Abraham had a hope that endured when he couldnt see the miracle. No matter how bad his circustances, he still believed the promises of God. That is the kind of faith that I am seeking. My cancer is not being affected by chemotherapy, but I have HOPE that God is healing me anyway. That is His promise to me. I can't see it, but I believe it is happening!
Pray for me today as I have another treatment. God is helping. My strength is somewhat improved, but a long way from normal, so please continue praying for my strength as well as for my healing. I love you!
