Mountaintop Fieldtrips With Jesus

I was reading today the story of when Jesus took Peter, James, & John to the Mount of Transfiguration. What a great time they enjoyed. What sights they saw! Jehovah God made an appearance, along with Moses and Elijah! They wanted to build a tabernacle and stay there! But Jesus reminded them of their work & ministry in the valley. The men were disappointed to leave the mountain, but the fieldtrip had been worth it!

Jesus wants to take us to the mountain on occasion. And don't think that you don't qualify. He takes normal people. Remember, He took big-mouth Peter, and the Sons of Thunder! To qualify we simply need to ask Him to take us along on a fieldtrip to someplace special. We will draw closer to Jesus, and get glimpses of heaven. We will return to the everyday life in the valley, but what great memories we will savor from our trip with the Savior!

Please pray for my strength today. Yesterday I crashed about 1:00 p.m. and had to come home. Please ask God to strengthen me and give me endurance for a full day. Thanks for praying. I couldn't make it without your prayers! I love you!
