Safely Home

Greetings everyone! I hope that you enjoyed a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving Day celebration with your families. We are safely back home after a three-day trip to Roan Mountain, TN. We had safe travel, and a wonderful time of family reunion and fellowship. 17 of us made the trip to a Christian retreat center in the East Tennessee mountains. It was very cold, and we even arrived to a few inches of fresh snowfall which made the area look like a winter wonderland. Each family had their own chalet complete with kitchens. On Thanksgiving Day we each cooked our dishes, then brought it all together for a feast held in the conference room. We had 8 adults and 9 children and it was a representation of 3 generations in the Ostendorf Family. If my daughters and granddaughters could have attended, we would have had 4 generations. The day was filled with great food, laughs & tears, as we shared our Thanksgiving Testimonies around the table. What a pricless memory.
