Casting Cares Upon God

It is a sunny and cool morning here in Carolina today. While searching the scriptures today, God gave me this great verse: "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall." (Psalm 55:22) What a great invitation from God! He doesn't want us overburdened with the cares of daily life. He wants us to give our cares to Him, in prayer. His promise is that He will sustain us, that we won't be overcome by our current burdens, and He certainly will never let us fall.

I give the burden of my cancer to Him each morning in prayer. He carries the load for me. I have some difficult days, but I have never fallen! What are you carrying around today? Take time out while you are reading this, and cast your cares on Him. He is standing by, waiting to hear from you!

Thanks for your prayers. I am in Day Two of my new treatment, and so far, so good. Please pray that I will tolerate the side effects, and that they won't affect me whatsoever. I love you!
