A New Beginning
Monday was a new beginning for me. I started my new job in Augusta. I now have a new routine, new focus, new direction, a new beginning.
This is the second new beginning or fresh start I have experienced. The first was at a Sunday morning service, when I knelt at an altar at our church in Pompano Beach, Florida and gave my heart to Jesus. God gave me a new beginning, a fresh start on that morning. He forgave me of my sins. "By His grace I am forgiven." At that time I had a new routine, a new focus, a new direction, a new beginning with God.
That new beginning as Jesus as my Lord still humbles me. I am so thankful for His amazing love for me and you, that He paid the price for us. I have always looked back at my decision, so many years ago to when I excepted Christ as my Savior as the best decision of my life. I have never once been sorry that I surrendered my heart to Him.
Like the song we practiced at choir tonight, some of the words say, "The Lord wants you to know there's healing in His name. I never could have made it this far without the Lord. Through sickness, through sorrow, through heartache and depression. I made it, there is healing in his name.
Where else are we given the opportunity for a second chance, a "do" over, to start a new? If you haven't made the decision to except God's free gift of His love - seek Jesus today. And if you know Christ as your Savior - thank Him for His unconditional love and saving grace.
Have a great week!
Love you ,
Vicky

David said it all: I saw God before me for all time. Nothing can shake me; He's right by my side. I'm glad from the inside out, ecstatic; I've pitched my tent in the Land of Hope. I know You'll never dump me in Hades; I'll never even smell the stench of death. You've got my feet on the life-path, with Your face shining sun-joy all around.
