Pastor Scott's Influence On Our Lives

I am constantly reminded of the amazing influence Pastor Scott had and continues to have on so many lives. His miracle continues, in the lives of his family, his friends and the people that are touched through this site. This guestbook entry was posted last week, but it somehow seems more fitting to post it right here:

Vicki and family,
I have been recently thinking about how Pastor Scott has impacted my life and thought I'd share something with you. Not only did he bring God's Word to help in daily difficulties, he also brought a word that continues to affect me in a wonderful way. When the movie "The Passion of the Christ " came out, Pastor Scott encouraged the congregation to use this movie as an outreach to those who were unchurched. I had planned to go with some friends (who were already christians), but somehow those plans didn't work out. At the time, I had a friend named David who I felt could use this movie and its message because he wasn't a christian. I followed God's leading which came through Pastor Scott and invited David to see this movie with me. Needless to say, David became a christian in May 2004. Through Pastor Scott's messages, David has grown tremendously in his faith. In November 2004, due to God's work through Pastor Scott and other avenues, I married David. God has blessed me with the best man I could ever have hoped for. I just wanted y'all to know how much Pastor Scott has impacted our lives. We'll never know how many lives he has touched because of his obedience to God, but I am sure just as in my case, they are many and those impacted by Pastor Scott tend to impact other lives for God's Kingdom.
